Shot #3.1:
There you are on the ropes and on the 8-ball. The
pressure is on, can you make this shot? Once you are able to most other
banks will become easier to deal with. The reason being is you will
have to utilize speed, English, cue-ball control and some precision.
This is a great shot to work on.
-
Practice this shot using Top-Right English just missing the corner
pocket. The English will spin out heading toward the side. Careful! Hit
it perfect & you scratch.

Safety #3.1:
In this scenario you are hidden from your object
ball, the 9. If you miss the ball or shoot it incorrectly it is highly
probable you will leave your opponent an easy out. Instead try playing
a safety.
-
Practice this shot using bottom English and hitting your object
ball square. Once you get this down you will leave the cue-ball
directly behind the 8-ball. The results leaves your opponent an even
harder shot. Plus you have now kicked your ball toward the center of the
table.
